5 Way off the Chart stars for Blood Empire and what an amazing conclusion to this series！ Advanced reader copy received from Booksprout and author in exchange for an honest review。 Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way。 Absolute perfection。 This is the conclusion to Royal and Harper’s story and the reader is in for not only a good long read with lots of loose ends resolved but we also see potential plot and storylines for other characters 。 I can’t believe this se 5 Way off the Chart stars for Blood Empire and what an amazing conclusion to this series！ Advanced reader copy received from Booksprout and author in exchange for an honest review。 Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way。 Absolute perfection。 This is the conclusion to Royal and Harper’s story and the reader is in for not only a good long read with lots of loose ends resolved but we also see potential plot and storylines for other characters 。 I can’t believe this series was my first by this author but let it be known that I am now such an incredible fan。 This series is by far one of my favorites in a dark bully romance。 Where to even begin ！ I highly recommend that you need to read this series in order : Book 1 Bad Apple Book 2 Brutal Boy Book 3 Boys Club Book 4 Broken Doll Book 5 Blood EmpireThis is a spoiler free review but I cannot recommend this series enough ！ The message for me was all about forgiveness and if Royal and Harper can find their way there after everything that has happened it left me thinking about forgiveness in my own life。 This is one of the most powerful stories I have ever read and my words in no way do this series justice。 There are two quotes from Royal that just slayed me every time I re-read them over and over again : “Every scar makes you more beautiful 。 Every tear makes you more mine。” “You don’t just belong in my world - you are my world - understand？ That’s your reality now。 Who wouldn’t love hearing someone say that to them。 This conversation comes about after Harper feels her trailer park existence can not measure up to Royal’s millionaire ， trust funded ， elite status made even more apparent between Faulkner and Willow Heights as well as the long term feud between the Dolce and Darling families。 Now that the series in complete I will definitely be re-reading it at some point。 I am so lucky to have spent the past year with this amazingly talented author ！I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

I am impressed with how Selena concluded Royal and Harper's story。 I'm not sure I've ever been so emotionally torn over a couple before。 Plenty of other authors and stories have touched me in some way， but there is just something singular about Royal and Harper。 The plot was hard to contain。 It's straight painful in a lot of instances and beautiful in others。 The level of inconceivable depths of lust， pain， revenge， selfishness， forgiveness， and love is hard to describe。 Plus the added power pla I am impressed with how Selena concluded Royal and Harper's story。 I'm not sure I've ever been so emotionally torn over a couple before。 Plenty of other authors and stories have touched me in some way， but there is just something singular about Royal and Harper。 The plot was hard to contain。 It's straight painful in a lot of instances and beautiful in others。 The level of inconceivable depths of lust， pain， revenge， selfishness， forgiveness， and love is hard to describe。 Plus the added power plays and master manipulations to move the pawns across the board。 It's part wow， part amazing， and also really F-ed up。 I also have to add the supporting cast of characters all have their own layers too， which add tremendously to the overall success of this series。 Which will be key in other books that focus on other characters。So， first things first。 If you are seeing this review before reading the series I have some tips。 If you have any sensitivities or triggers - keep searching - these books are not for you。 The author does a fantastic job reiterating this fact in her blurbs so take it seriously。 Next， if you are fine with dark content go to the Willow Heights Prep Academy: Bully Me and read all the Elite books before starting the Exile books。 It's important for a better reading experience。 Mafia Princess （it's a standalone， interconnected story in that King one of the Dolce brothers is the focus）- can technically be read in any order though reading the Elite series or at least Bully Me first is helpful。 If you've read up to book 3 （Boys Club） and after the ending are unsure if you wanted to devote more time to this series， I can confirm you should。 There is a method to the madness and it's a valid point of view to consider。 If you've already read book 4 （Broken Doll） then I know I don't have to convince you。The last thing I'll say is that I love that this is all about "love conquers all" and "you don't forgive for the other person; you do it for yourself。" 。。。more
